Vanishing Square Cutting Board
US$250.00價格
End-grain cutting board in light and dark wood, laid in a checker that drops toward the center.
The blocks are the same size. The pattern is what moves. From above, the surface reads as a well, deeper in the middle than at the edge. Turn it and the well flattens back into a grid. The edge shows the strips the board was built from, light and dark in turn.
End grain is the working face. It is kinder to a knife than a long-grain board, and it stands up to daily cutting. Hand wash, dry it standing, and oil it when the wood looks dry.
